Watercolour
"Whistling in a wood" -7 x 10in January 2005. "Nebulosity" - March 2005 - 14 x 10in,
"View from the Wrekin" - 10 x 7in 12th May 2005
Done on top of the Wrekin, an extinct volcano just outside Wellington,
looking towards the hazy bump of Caer Caradoc on the skyline.
"Rollaston Park"- 10 x 7in, June 2005.
After doing the initial sketch in the park, I needed to warm up with a meal
at the local pub. This resulted in the picture below.
"The Spread Eagle Public House, at Rollaston"- 10 x 7in, June 2005.
After enjoying a very nice meal here, I did a sketch of the interior, but I was
stuck for a while with what view to create out of the window. I eventually
invented a patio. It is well worth a visit if you are in the area.
"Bleaberry Haws from Rostwaite Heights" 14 x 10 in. 12 August 2005.
"Done in 2 hours, once I had found a good vantage point - Plein Air".
"Meteor over the Lake" 14 x 10 in. 4th September 2005.
"I was fortunate to see a bright meteor pass overhead while relaxing at the
lakeside at 10:45 p.m. watching bats doing aerobatics, hunting for insects."
